Try this interactive demo to learn how to remove comments in your PowerPoint presentations.

‍

It is very easy to remove the comments in PowerPoint by simply deleting them. Here’s a short tutorial on how to do it:

  1. Inside the slide canvas of your PowerPoint presentation, go to the top menu bar and click 'Comments'.
  2. After that, go to the right-hand panel and find the comment you want to remove. Click its corresponding 'More Thread Actions' button.
  3. Choose 'Delete Thread' from the list of options.
  4. Finally, the selected comment will be deleted from your PowerPoint presentation.

📌 Why this matters

Removing comments lets you finalize presentations for different audiences without exposing internal feedback or sensitive discussions. You might need to strip out strategic notes before sharing with clients, or remove personal critiques before presenting to executives. Comments often contain context that was valuable during development but inappropriate for the final audience. Clean presentations also eliminate distractions during live presentations, ensuring your audience focuses on your content rather than lingering feedback from collaborators or previous iterations of your work.
