This demo shows how to reduce image size in PowerPoint using the built-in Compress Pictures feature. By adjusting picture quality settings, you can shrink file size without replacing images manually.
Steps
- Select the image you want to edit inside the slide canvas of your PowerPoint presentation.
- Go to the top menu bar and click Picture Format.
- Click the Compress Pictures option in the ribbon.
- Click the Picture Quality drop-down menu and select a quality level based on your preference.
- In the Apply To section, tick the radio button beside Selected Pictures Only.
- Click OK to apply the compression changes.
- The selected image in your presentation will now be compressed to reduce its file size.
