You can embed a Power BI dashboard in PowerPoint by installing the Microsoft Power BI add-in from the Insert tab and pasting your dashboard link directly into the add-in panel. This method lets you display interactive, live data inside any PowerPoint slide without exporting static images.
Steps
- Open PowerPoint and navigate to the presentation where you want to add your Power BI report.
- Navigate to the Insert tab, then click on Add-ins in the ribbon.
- Type Microsoft Power BI in the search bar and press Enter.
- Select Microsoft Power BI from the results and click Add.
- Open your Power BI dashboard and click Share.
- Click the three-dot menu on the dashboard.
- Select Copy dashboard link from the menu options.
- Copy the link of your dashboard by clicking Copy.
- Back in PowerPoint, paste the copied Power BI URL into the field provided in the add-in panel.
- Click Insert and your interactive Power BI dashboard will be embedded in your slide, ready to present to your audience.
