This demo shows how to push Basecamp events to Google Calendar automatically using a Zapier automation. By connecting Basecamp as the trigger app and Google Calendar as the action app, teams can eliminate manual scheduling and keep calendars in sync without any code.
Steps
- From your Zapier dashboard, select Zap to create a new automation.
- Click on the Trigger field to begin selecting your trigger event.
- Search and select Basecamp as your trigger app.
- Select a trigger event from the available Basecamp options.
- Connect your Basecamp account to authorize Zapier access.
- Customize the trigger settings and click Continue.
- Click Test trigger to verify Basecamp is returning data correctly.
- Search and select Google Calendar as the action app.
- Select Detailed event as the action type for Google Calendar.
- Connect your Google account to authorize Calendar access.
- Configure the event details and click Continue.
- Click Test step to confirm the Google Calendar event is created successfully.
- Once the test passes, click Publish to activate your Zap.
