This tutorial shows how to manage email frequency in SendGrid Automations by editing the Send Delay settings for each step in a marketing workflow. You can set a custom number of hours or days between emails to control exactly when subscribers receive each message in your automation sequence.
Steps
- On the SendGrid main dashboard, navigate to the left-side panel and click Marketing.
- Select Automations from the list of options.
- Find and select the automation you want to edit.
- Scroll down to the automation workflow section, then click the Pencil icon inside the Send Delay tab.
- Adjust the email frequency by specifying your preferred number and period of delay — choose day or hour and provide a specific number.
- Click Update and proceed to the next Send Delay tab; repeat the same steps until you reach the last email content.
- Click Save to apply the changes and enable the new email frequency settings for your SendGrid automation.
