This tutorial shows how to integrate Zendesk with Twilio using Zapier Zaps by configuring a trigger in Zendesk and a corresponding action in Twilio. Once set up, the Zendesk–Twilio integration automatically routes support events to Twilio without any manual intervention.
Steps
- Navigate to the left-side panel in Zapier, then click Create.
- Select Zaps from the list of available options.
- Tap the Trigger button on the main dashboard.
- Search for Zendesk and select it from the results as your trigger app.
- Choose your preferred Trigger Event from the drop-down menu.
- Click Sign In to connect your Zendesk account.
- Provide your Zendesk account credentials, then click Yes, Continue to Zendesk.
- Open the drop-down menu and fill in the additional details needed to set up the Trigger.
- Click Continue With Selected Record to confirm your trigger data.
- Search for Twilio and select it as the Action app.
- Click the drop-down menu and choose your preferred Action Event.
- Click Sign In to connect your Twilio account.
- Provide your Twilio account credentials, then click Yes, Continue to Twilio.
- Fill out the input fields with the necessary details to set up the Action.
- Click Test to validate your inputs, then publish the integration.
- Your Zendesk account is now integrated with Twilio and ready to automate.
