This guide walks you through integrating Zendesk with Jira by installing the Zendesk Support for Jira app directly from the Jira Marketplace and authenticating your Zendesk account to enable seamless two-way ticket visibility.
Steps
- Head over to the top menu bar, then click the Apps menu.
- Select Explore More Apps from the dropdown list of options.
- Click the search bar and type Zendesk to find the integration.
- Find and select Zendesk Support For Jira from the search results.
- Tap Get App at the top-right corner of the app listing.
- Review the integration details and click Get It Now to proceed with installation.
- Navigate to the bottom-left corner and click the Configure button inside the pop-up window.
- On the Authentication tab, enter your Zendesk subdomain into the provided input field.
- Tap Authenticate to initiate the connection with your Zendesk account.
- Log into your Zendesk account when prompted to proceed with authorization.
- Read the permission terms and click Allow to grant the necessary access.
- Your Zendesk account is now integrated with Jira and ready to use.
