Use this interactive demo to learn how to connect Trello boards to your Pipedrive pipeline.

Quick summary

This guide shows you how to integrate Trello with Pipedrive using the Trello Power-Up, enabling deals to automatically create cards on your Trello boards. Once connected, you can configure Auto Create Cards From Deals so that winning a deal in Pipedrive instantly triggers a Trello card.

Steps

  1. Go to the Marketplace section from the left sidebar menu in Pipedrive.
  2. Search for Trello in the Marketplace search bar if it is not already visible.
  3. Click on the Trello search result to open its listing page.
  4. Click Authorize to begin the Pipedrive–Trello connection.
  5. Sign in to your Trello account if prompted, then click Add Power-Up on the Trello Power-Ups page for Pipedrive.
  6. Select the Trello boards you want to add the Power-Up to.
  7. Click Add to confirm your board selection.
  8. Click Go to board to open your selected Trello board.
  9. Inside your board, locate the Pipedrive and Power-Ups settings at the top of the board.
  10. Click on Pipedrive Settings to begin account authorization.
  11. Click the Authorize button in the window that opens to authorize your Pipedrive account.
  12. Click Next to proceed through the required Pipedrive authorization steps.
  13. Click Allow and Install to grant Pipedrive the necessary permissions.
  14. Click Allow to confirm Pipedrive access.
  15. With Pipedrive authorized, use the new button to link your Trello account.
  16. Review all permissions and scroll down to continue.
  17. Click Allow to grant Trello the required access.
  18. Close the setup window once the initial configuration is complete.
  19. Click the Power-Ups option and select Pipedrive Settings from the menu.
  20. Under Pipedrive, select Edit Power-Up Settings.
  21. Select Auto Create Cards From Deals to enable automatic card creation.
  22. A new configuration window will open — set your preferred conditions for when deals should become cards.
  23. Configure when deals should be created as Trello cards and click Save.
  24. In Pipedrive, mark a deal as Won to trigger the automation.
  25. The deal will appear as a card in Trello based on the conditions you configured.

📌 Why this matters

Integrating Trello with Pipedrive using the Pipedrive Power-Up allows sales and project teams to automatically sync CRM deal data with Trello boards, eliminating manual handoffs between tools. When a deal is marked as Won in Pipedrive, a Trello card is created automatically, keeping project delivery and task management aligned with the sales pipeline in real time. This two-way integration reduces human error, speeds up deal-to-delivery workflows, and ensures that no won deal slips through the cracks. For teams already using both Pipedrive and Trello, this native Power-Up is the fastest way to bridge CRM activity with visual project management.
