Use this interactive demo to learn how to connect Trello with Facebook Pages using a Zap.

Quick summary

This tutorial shows how to integrate Trello with Facebook Pages using Zapier by building a Zap that sets Trello as the trigger and Facebook Pages as the action app. Once published, the automation keeps your social media content and project management workflows in sync without manual effort.

Steps

  1. Log in to Zapier, click Create, and select Zaps to get started.
  2. Click Trigger to begin setting up the trigger step.
  3. Search for and select Trello as the Trigger App.
  4. Choose a trigger event such as New Activity or New Board.
  5. Sign in to your Trello account, grant Zapier access, and click Continue.
  6. Select Test trigger to verify the Trello connection.
  7. Choose a Trello board, then click Continue with selected record.
  8. Search for and select Facebook Pages as the action app.
  9. Choose an action event under Facebook Pages.
  10. Sign in to your Facebook account to authorize the connection.
  11. Click Save to confirm the Facebook account connection.
  12. After logging in to Facebook, click Continue to proceed.
  13. Complete and customize the required fields, then click Continue.
  14. Click Test step to verify the action works correctly.
  15. Click Publish to activate and complete the Trello–Facebook Pages integration.

📌 Why this matters

Connecting Trello with Facebook Pages via Zapier eliminates the manual work of cross-posting updates between your project management tool and your social media presence. Teams that manage content pipelines in Trello can automatically trigger Facebook Pages actions — such as creating posts — whenever a Trello board or card event occurs. This Trello–Facebook Pages automation reduces human error, saves time, and ensures your audience stays informed in real time. It is an essential workflow for social media managers, marketing teams, and agencies looking to scale content operations without additional overhead.
