This demo walks you through integrating SurveyMonkey with Gmail using Zapier, so every new survey response can automatically trigger a Gmail action without any manual work. By setting up a Zap with SurveyMonkey as the trigger app and Gmail as the action app, you can automate email notifications or follow-ups the moment survey data comes in.
Steps
- Navigate to the left-side panel and click 'Create' to start building a new Zap.
- Select 'Zaps' from the list of options.
- Click 'Trigger' to begin setting up the integration trigger.
- Find and select 'SurveyMonkey' as the trigger app from the available integration options.
- Choose your preferred 'Trigger Event' from the dropdown.
- Click 'Sign In' and log into your SurveyMonkey account to connect it.
- Specify the data center assigned to your SurveyMonkey account, then click 'Yes, Continue to SurveyMonkey'.
- Click 'Authorize' to grant Zapier access to your SurveyMonkey account.
- Fill in the required fields to configure the Trigger settings.
- Tap 'Continue' to run your inputs and test the Trigger.
- Click 'Continue' once more to proceed to the action setup.
- Find and select 'Gmail' as the Action app for the Zap.
- Click the drop-down menu and specify the 'Action Event' you want Gmail to perform.
- Click 'Sign In' and log into your Gmail account to connect it.
- Click 'Allow' to grant the necessary Gmail permissions to Zapier.
- Fill out the Gmail action input fields one by one with the required information.
- Tap 'Continue' to publish and activate the integration.
- Your SurveyMonkey account is now fully integrated with Gmail and the Zap is live.
