This tutorial shows how to connect Qlik Sense to Slack using the native connector to load workspace and messaging data for analysis.
Note:
You need a Slack app with the appropriate read permissions and a valid OAuth access token from the Slack API portal.
- Log in and open your Qlik Sense app, and click Data load editor from the top menu.
- Click Create new connection in the Data connection panel on the right.
- Select Slack V2 from the list of available connectors.
- Click Authenticate to complete the OAuth flow and grant Qlik access to your Slack data.
- Copy the authentication code provided by Slack and paste it into the Qlik connector dialog, then click Verify.
- Click Create to store the connection. You can now access the saved connection, browse the available tables, and select the ones you want to load into your app.
