How to Integrate Qlik with Redshift

This tutorial shows how to connect Qlik Sense to Amazon Redshift using the native Redshift connector to query and load data warehouse data for analysis.

Notes:

• Qlik Sense has a native Amazon Redshift connector available in the Data Connections panel.
• You need valid Redshift credentials including cluster endpoint, port, database name, username, and password.
  

1. Log in and open your Qlik Sense app, and click Data load editor from the top menu.
2. Click Create new connection in the Data connection panel on the right.
3. Select Amazon Redshift from the list of available connectors.
4. Enter your Redshift connection details (for example, your cluster endpoint, port 5439, and database name).
5. Enter your credentials and click Test connection to verify that Qlik can reach the Redshift cluster.
6. Click Create to store the connection. You can now access the saved connection, browse the available tables, and select the ones you want to load into your app.
