This tutorial shows how to connect Qlik Sense to Amazon Redshift using the native Redshift connector to query and load data warehouse data for analysis.
Notes:
- Qlik Sense has a native Amazon Redshift connector available in the Data Connections panel.
- You need valid Redshift credentials including cluster endpoint, port, database name, username, and password.
- Log in and open your Qlik Sense app, and click Data load editor from the top menu.
- Click Create new connection in the Data connection panel on the right.
- Select Amazon Redshift from the list of available connectors.
- Enter your Redshift connection details (for example, your cluster endpoint, port 5439, and database name).
- Enter your credentials and click Test connection to verify that Qlik can reach the Redshift cluster.
- Click Create to store the connection. You can now access the saved connection, browse the available tables, and select the ones you want to load into your app.
