How to Integrate Qlik with Pinterest Ads

This tutorial shows how to connect Qlik Sense to Pinterest Ads using the REST connector to load campaign and performance data for analysis.

Notes:

• Qlik Sense does not have a native Pinterest Ads connector. The REST connector using the Pinterest API is the recommended approach.
• You need a Pinterest developer account, an approved app, and a valid OAuth 2.0 access token with ads read permissions.
  

1. Log in and open your Qlik Sense app, and click Data load editor from the top menu.
2. Click Create new connection in the Data connection panel on the right.
3. Select REST from the connector list.
4. Enter a Pinterest API endpoint URL (for example, a campaigns or reporting endpoint).
5. In the request headers, add an Authorization header with your Pinterest access token, then click Test connection to verify the request.
6. Click Create to store the connection. You can now access the saved connection, browse the available tables, and select the ones you want to load into your app.
