How to Integrate Qlik with Klaviyo

Use this interactive demo to learn how to integrate Qlik with Klaviyo.

This tutorial shows how to connect Qlik Sense to Klaviyo using the REST connector to load email and SMS marketing data for analysis.

Notes:

  • Qlik Sense does not have a native Klaviyo connector. The REST connector using the Klaviyo API is the recommended approach.
  • You need a Klaviyo account and a valid private API key found in your Klaviyo account settings under API Keys.
  1. Log in and open your Qlik Sense app, and click Data load editor from the top menu.
  2. Click Create new connection in the Data connection panel on the right.
  3. Select REST from the connector list.
  4. Enter a Klaviyo API endpoint URL (for example, a profiles or events endpoint).
  5. In the request headers, add an Authorization header with your Klaviyo access token, then click Test connection to verify the request.
  6. Click Create to store the connection. You can now access the saved connection, browse the available tables, and select the ones you want to load into your app.

📌 Why this matters

Klaviyo is a core marketing platform for e-commerce brands, powering email and SMS campaigns that drive repeat purchases and customer retention. Loading Klaviyo data into Qlik Sense lets marketing and e-commerce teams analyze campaign performance, revenue attribution, and list health alongside store and transaction data. This is especially valuable when evaluating how specific flows or campaigns contribute to overall revenue or customer lifetime value. Centralizing Klaviyo data in Qlik gives your team a more complete picture of marketing performance than what the native Klaviyo dashboard provides on its own.
