How to Integrate Qlik with Dropbox

This tutorial shows how to access files stored in Dropbox and load them into Qlik Sense for analysis.

Notes:

• Alternatively, the recommended approach is to install the Dropbox desktop app to sync your Dropbox files to a local folder on your machine.
• Files in the synced Dropbox folder are then accessible as local files in Qlik Sense.
  

1. Open Dropbox app on your browser or machine and sign in to sync your Drive files to a local folder.
2. Log in and open your Qlik Sense app, and click Data load editor from the top menu.
3. Click Create new connection in the Data connections panel on the right.
4. Select Dropbox from the list of connectors.
5. Click Authenticate to open the Dropbox sign-in page. Log in to your account and grant Qlik permission to access your files.
6. Copy the authentication code provided by Dropbox and paste it into the Qlik connector dialog, then click Verify.
7. Click Create to store the connection. You can now access the saved connection, browse the available tables, and select the ones you want to load into your app.
