Quick summary
This demo shows how to integrate Microsoft Teams with Jenkins using Make by building an automated scenario that sends Teams notifications whenever a Jenkins event is triggered. You can connect the two tools without writing code by mapping Jenkins trigger data directly to a Teams message action.
Steps
- In the scenario editor, click the add icon, search for Jenkins, and click on it.
- Choose a trigger event for Jenkins and click on it.
- Click Create a webhook to set up the Jenkins connection.
- After creating the webhook, click Save to confirm the trigger configuration.
- In the scenario editor, click the add icon again, search for Microsoft Teams, and click on it.
- Select an action event from Microsoft Teams and click on it.
- Map data from Jenkins to the Teams message using variables from the Jenkins trigger, then click OK.
- After configuring both modules, click the Run once button to test that the integration works correctly.
