Use this interactive demo to learn how to integrate Microsoft Dynamics 365 with SharePoint.

‍

‍

Integrating Dynamics 365 with SharePoint allows for centralized document management. Here’s how to do it:

‍

  1. Head to Dynamics 365 and click the gear icon to open settings.
  2. Navigate to "More Settings" and select "Advanced Settings" to access deeper configuration options.
  3. Click the dropdown arrow next to "Settings" to reveal additional menu options.
  4. Choose "Document Management Settings" from the list.
  5. Enable "Server-based SharePoint integration" to connect your systems securely and efficiently.
  6. Click "Next" to move forward in the setup wizard.
  7. Select "Online" as your SharePoint site location, then hit "Next" to continue the configuration.
  8. Enter your SharePoint Online site URL and click "Next" to validate the connection.
  9. Click "Enable" to finalize your integration and start collaborating.

📌 Why this matters

This integration transforms how your team handles customer data and documents by creating a single source of truth. Instead of switching between platforms to find contracts, proposals, or project files, everything becomes accessible directly within your customer records.

You'll eliminate version control issues and reduce time spent hunting for the right document. The real power emerges when multiple departments need customer information simultaneously - sales, support, and project teams can all access the same up-to-date files without duplicating storage or creating confusion.
