Use this interactive demo to learn how to integrate Dynamics 365 with Bing Maps API.

‍

‍

Here’s how to do it:

‍

  1. Start by clicking the gear icon in your Dynamics 365 interface to open settings.
  2. Now, select "Advanced Settings" to access deeper configuration options.
  3. Head over to the "Administration" menu.
  4. Click on "System Settings" and choose the "General" tab.
  5. Scroll down until you find the "Enable Bing Maps".
  6. Toggle "Bing Maps" to ON to activate the integration with your CRM data.
  7. Hit "Save" to lock in your changes. Once enabled, Dynamics 365 will automatically use the address fields to display a map within the form.

📌 Why this matters

When you integrate Bing Maps with your CRM, you instantly transform static address data into visual, actionable intelligence. Beyond simply seeing customer locations, this integration automatically calculates travel distances for field teams, helps identify geographic sales patterns, and enables territory optimization.

Sales reps can quickly assess which prospects are clustered together for efficient route planning, while managers gain insights into market density and coverage gaps. The real power lies in how visual geography reveals business opportunities that spreadsheet addresses keep hidden.
