Use this interactive demo to learn how to sync Airtable records with Notion using Zapier.

Quick summary

This guide shows you how to integrate Airtable with Notion using a Zapier Zap, connecting a trigger in Airtable to an action in Notion so data flows automatically between the two tools. By the end, your Airtable workspace will be live-connected to a Notion page without any manual data entry.

Steps

  1. On the left-side panel, tap Create to start building a new Zap.
  2. Select Zaps from the list of available options.
  3. Access the main dashboard, then click Trigger to begin the integration process.
  4. Find and select Airtable from the search results as the trigger app.
  5. Choose your preferred Trigger Event from the available options.
  6. Tap Sign In and provide your Airtable credentials to authenticate.
  7. Choose your desired workspace, then click Grant Access to authorize Zapier.
  8. Fill in all required fields to configure the trigger settings.
  9. Tap Test to verify the trigger is working correctly.
  10. Find and select Notion as the Action App.
  11. Open the drop-down menu and specify your preferred Action Event.
  12. Click Sign In and provide your Notion credentials to authenticate.
  13. Click Select Pages and choose the specific Notion page you want to use.
  14. Tap Allow Access to grant Zapier permission to your Notion workspace.
  15. Fill out all input fields with the required action information.
  16. Click Test to verify the data and run the integration end-to-end.
  17. Tap Publish to activate and enable the Zap.
  18. Your Airtable account is now integrated with Notion and will sync automatically.

📌 Why this matters

Integrating Airtable with Notion via Zapier eliminates the need for manual data transfers between your database and knowledge management tools. When a new record is created or updated in Airtable, Zapier automatically pushes that information to the correct Notion page, keeping both platforms in sync in real time. This automation reduces human error, saves hours of repetitive work, and ensures that project data, tasks, or content stored in Airtable is always reflected in your Notion workspace. Teams that rely on both tools can maintain a single source of truth across their entire workflow without writing a single line of code.
