This tutorial shows how to install Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows Server so your organization can deploy a centrally managed Qlik analytics environment.
Notes:
- You need a Windows Server machine (2016 or later recommended) with administrator access.
- A valid Qlik Sense Enterprise license and a service account are required before installation.
- Qlik Sense Enterprise requires specific ports to be open - consult Qlik's system requirements documentation before starting.
- Download the Qlik Sense Enterprise installer from the Qlik official site or Qlik Customer Portal using your account credentials.
- On the target Windows Server machine, run the installer as an administrator and accept the license agreement.
- Enter your service account credentials (domain\username and password) when prompted. This account runs all Qlik Sense services.
- On the Setup Type screen, select the default option to install all components, or clear the checkboxes based on your setup preferences, then click Next.
- Once installation is complete, open the Qlik Management Console (QMC) and log in to verify the deployment.
- Enter your Qlik Sense Enterprise license key or paste your signed license when the license prompt appears.
