In Microsoft Project, you don’t permanently “hide” tasks the way you might hide rows in Excel, but you can temporarily hide them by following these steps:
- Open your Microsoft Project file to see all your tasks.
- Go to your columns and right click on your column bar.
- Select 'Insert Column'.
- Enter a name for your menu.
- From the menu, select 'Marked'.
- Once, you have created a unique identifier to tasks that you wish to hide. Choose and select a task.
- To filter the column, double click it and select 'Yes'.
- That's it! You have successfully hid the tasks in Microsoft Project.
