Quick summary
To hide completed tasks in Asana, use the Quick Filters menu to show only incomplete tasks, then save the view as a new tab so the setting persists across sessions. This lets teams keep their project task list focused and free of finished work without permanently deleting any records.
Steps
- Open an existing project in your Asana workspace.
- Go to the Filter menu of your project.
- Under Quick Filters, set the default filter to Incomplete tasks only.
- Click Save as new tab to preserve the filter as a dedicated view.
- Confirm that completed tasks no longer appear in your task list.
- Click Save view on the left side of your dashboard to finalize the setting.
- A confirmation notification appears once the view has been successfully saved.
