How to Freeze Frame in Clipchamp

In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to freeze frames in Clipchamp.

1. Drag the video onto the timeline.
2. Move the playhead to the exact frame you want to freeze.
3. Take a screenshot of the preview window using any snipping tool then save.
4. Go back to Clipchamp and select the video clip
5. Click Split on the toolbar then make a space in between the two split clips by dragging the second clip to the right.
6. Import the screenshot then drag it onto the space created in the timeline.
7. Adjust the duration of the screenshot to control how long the freeze frame appears.
8. The video will now pause on that frame before continuing.
