Lovable lets you export your project code to GitHub by connecting your account and syncing repositories directly from the platform. This GitHub integration enables developers to version-control, collaborate on, and deploy AI-generated code using standard Git workflows.
Steps
- Go to the left-side panel, then click 'All Projects'.
- Find and select the project that contains the code you want to export to GitHub.
- Click 'Sync Your Project to GitHub' from the project toolbar.
- Tap 'Connect GitHub' to begin the authorization process.
- Click 'Connect Project' and log in to your GitHub account.
- Click 'Add Organizations' to proceed with account setup.
- Specify the repositories you wish to include — select all or choose certain repositories only.
- Click 'Install & Authorize' to grant Lovable access to your GitHub repositories.
- Under GitHub Organizations, switch on the toggle button next to your account.
- Tap 'Continue' to proceed.
- Click 'Connect' to finalize the repository connection.
- Click 'Transfer Anyway' and wait while the transfer process completes.
- Your Lovable project code is now successfully exported to GitHub.
