- Go to studio.youtube.com and click Content in the left sidebar. Find the video you want to edit and click its title or thumbnail to open the details page.
- To update the title, click into the Title field and type your changes. Keep titles under 100 characters and front-load the most important keywords.
- To update the description, click into the Description field and make your edits. Add timestamps, links, or updated context as needed.
- Click the thumbnail, then choose a new image file (JPG, GIF, or PNG, up to 2 MB) to upload.
- To update tags, scroll down to the Tags field and add or remove tags. Separate each tag with a comma.
- To change visibility, click the Visibility section and select Public, Unlisted, Private, or Scheduled. Changes take effect as soon as you save.
- Click the X icon in the top-right corner to Save and Close and apply your changes, or click Publish when you’re ready to publish.
