How to Create an Event in Constant Contact

Updated on:
May 12, 2026

Madhav Bhandari
Use this interactive demo to learn how to set up and publish an event in Constant Contact.

Quick summary

Constant Contact's event creation tool lets you build a fully configured event registration page — complete with tickets, promo codes, and a custom registration form — directly from the Audience Growth section. Follow the steps below to go from a blank slate to a published, payment-ready event in minutes.

Steps

  1. In the left-side panel, click Audience Growth to expand the audience tools menu.
  2. Select Events from the list of options that appears.
  3. Click Create an Event in the top-right corner of the Events page.
  4. Work through each settings tab and fill in the event Title, Description, Location, Date, Time, and Contact Information.
  5. Click Continue to move to the next setup section.
  6. Click Create and configure at least one Ticket, Promo Code, or Add-On for the event.
  7. Click Continue once your tickets and add-ons are configured.
  8. Build the registration form by adding the fields you want attendees to complete, then click Continue.
  9. Set your preferred payment method, then click Save and Complete to publish and save your event.

📌 Why this matters

Constant Contact's built-in event management feature lets small businesses and nonprofits create, promote, and manage events without needing a separate platform. From customizable registration forms and ticket types to promo codes and integrated payment collection, the tool covers the full event lifecycle in one place. This reduces the friction of coordinating multiple tools, helping organizers drive attendance and collect payments faster. For teams already using Constant Contact for email marketing, creating events directly within the platform means audience data and contact lists stay connected and up to date.
