How to Create a Survey in Constant Contact

Use this interactive demo to learn how to build and activate a survey in Constant Contact.

Steps

  1. Navigate to the left-side panel and click Marketing Channels.
  2. Select Surveys from the list of options.
  3. Click Create a Survey at the top-right corner.
  4. Drag a block from the left-side panel into the main workspace to begin customizing your survey layout.
  5. Tap the block you want to edit to select it.
  6. Use the floating menu bar to apply your desired changes to the selected block.
  7. Repeat the edit process for each block until all blocks are customized to your preference.
  8. Double-click a question block to open the question editor.
  9. Tap the Question input field and type your question text.
  10. Click the question type drop-down below the question field and select your preferred question format.
  11. Click each Answer input field and type the potential response choices one by one.
  12. Click Save to store the question.
  13. Go to the Question Blocks section, drag additional blocks into the workspace, and repeat the question editing steps to add more questions.
  14. Click Activate at the top-right corner when your survey is complete.
  15. Fill out the required fields in the activation dialog, then click Save and Activate to publish.
  16. Your survey is now created and live in Constant Contact.
