How to Create a Custom Report in Xero

It is very easy to create a custom report in Xero. Here’s a short tutorial on how to do it in simple steps:

  1. On Xero's main dashboard, head over to the top menu bar and click 'Accounting'.
  2. Choose 'Reports' from the list of options.
  3. After that, find and open the report you wish to use.
  4. Review the content of the selected report, then make your desired changes.
  5. Once done, navigate to the bottom-right section and click 'Save As'.
  6. Subsequently, enter your preferred custom report name into the provided input field and click 'Save' to proceed.
  7. After completing these steps, your Xero custom report will be created and saved.
