Use this interactive demo to learn how to generate and share a Calendly scheduling link.

Quick summary

This tutorial shows how to create and copy a Calendly event link directly from your event editor or homepage. You can also set the scheduling link to expire after the first booking for single-use sharing.

Steps

  1. From your Calendly homepage, click on your event type to open it for editing.
  2. Inside the Event editor, click the link icon at the top of the left-hand sidebar.
  3. A notification pops up confirming the action was successful.
  4. Alternatively, click the Share button from within the event editor.
  5. Click the Copy Link option to copy your scheduling URL to the clipboard.
  6. Optionally, select Let this link expire after the first booking to create a single-use scheduling link.
  7. From your Calendly homepage, find the event you want to share and click Copy link directly from the event card.

📌 Why this matters

Sharing your Calendly scheduling link quickly and correctly is essential for reducing back-and-forth when setting up meetings. Calendly's event link sharing options — including the ability to copy a link from the event editor, the Share button, or your homepage — give users flexible ways to distribute their availability. The single-use expiring link feature adds an extra layer of control, making it ideal for one-time consultations or limited-availability bookings. Understanding these options helps individuals and teams streamline their scheduling workflows and improve the booking experience for invitees.
