How to Create a Broadcast in GetResponse

Updated on:
May 11, 2026
By:
Madhav Bhandari
Use this interactive demo to learn how to build and send a broadcast email campaign in GetResponse.

Quick summary

A GetResponse broadcast is a one-time email campaign sent to a selected list or segment of subscribers. This guide walks through every step — from naming the campaign to hitting Send message — so you can reach your audience quickly and confidently.

Steps

  1. In the main dashboard, under Quick Actions, click Create newsletter.
  2. Enter an internal campaign name to help you identify the broadcast later.
  3. Select the list or segment you want to send the broadcast to.
  4. Fill in the From name and Reply to email address.
  5. Enter the email subject line.
  6. Click Add recipients to confirm your audience selection.
  7. Select All lists as your recipient scope.
  8. Click Add to confirm the recipient selection.
  9. Click Design message to open the email editor.
  10. Choose a template for your email and click Use template.
  11. Use the drag-and-drop editor to add and customize elements such as text, images, buttons, and dividers.
  12. Click Send immediately to deliver the email now, or Schedule for later to send at your chosen time.
  13. Click Send message to dispatch the broadcast to your subscribers.

📌 Why this matters

Sending a broadcast in GetResponse lets marketers deliver targeted, one-time email campaigns to their entire subscriber list or a specific segment in just a few clicks. GetResponse's built-in drag-and-drop email editor and pre-built templates reduce design time while keeping emails on-brand and professional. The ability to send immediately or schedule for later gives teams full control over timing, making it easier to align campaigns with promotions, product launches, or announcements. For businesses that rely on email marketing to drive conversions, mastering the broadcast feature in GetResponse is a critical step toward consistent, scalable audience communication.
