To capture activities from other tools and log them in HubSpot as Notes, Tasks, or Timeline Events. Here's how to do it:
- From your 'Zapier' dashboard, select 'Zap'.
- Click on the 'Trigger' field to select the event.
- Select the app where the integration activity originates.
- Select a trigger event.
- Authenticate the app account with Zapier.
- Add the mailbox and click 'Continue'.
- Click on the 'Test trigger' button to confirm data is being pulled correctly from Gmail.
- Once the data has been pulled out, click 'Continue with selected record'.
- Search and select 'HubSpot' as the action app.
- Select an action event.
- Connect your HubSpot account.
- Match fields from the trigger app to fields in HubSpot and click 'Continue'.
- Click 'Test step' to test with sample data to ensure the trigger-action workflow runs as expected.
- Click 'Publish' and turn on the Zap to activate the workflow.
