This guide shows how to connect Tars to Notion using Zapier by creating a Zap that automatically sends Tars chatbot data to a Notion database. The integration requires authenticating both apps and configuring a trigger event in Tars and an action event in Notion.
Steps
- Navigate to the left-side panel and click Create.
- Select Zaps from the list of options.
- Click the Trigger tab to start the integration process.
- Search for Tars and select it from the recommended matches.
- Specify your preferred Trigger Event.
- Click Sign In and log into your Tars account.
- Click Authorize to accept the terms and grant the necessary permissions.
- Fill in the required information to set up the Trigger.
- Click Continue to run your input and test the Trigger.
- Choose the record you wish to connect, then click Continue With Selected Record.
- Search for Notion and select it as the Action app.
- Use the drop-down menu to pick the specific Action Event you want to carry out.
- Click Sign In and log into your Notion account.
- Review the required permissions and click Select Pages.
- Tick the checkbox beside the page you wish to use, then click Allow Access.
- Fill out all input fields with the required integration information.
- Click Continue to publish and enable the integration.
- Your Tars account is now connected to Notion based on your configuration.
