This tutorial shows how to connect StreamYard to Zoom by building a Zap in Zapier that uses StreamYard as the trigger app and Zoom as the action app. Once configured, the integration automatically syncs events between your StreamYard broadcasts and your Zoom account without any manual effort.
Steps
- Go to the left-side panel and click Create.
- Select Zaps from the list of options.
- Tap the Trigger tab to start the integration process.
- Search for StreamYard and choose it from the suggested results.
- Specify your preferred Trigger Event using the event drop-down.
- Tap Sign In to authenticate your StreamYard account.
- Enter your StreamYard API key into the input field and click Yes, Continue to StreamYard.
- Tap Test Trigger to validate your input.
- Click Continue to proceed to the Action setup.
- Search for Zoom and choose it as the Action app.
- Click the drop-down menu and pick the specific Action Event you want to execute.
- Click Sign In and log in to your Zoom account.
- Tap Continue to confirm the Zoom connection.
- Fill out the required input fields, including Meeting Type and other details.
- Click Continue to publish and enable the integration.
- Your StreamYard account is now successfully connected to Zoom and your Zap is live.
