This tutorial shows how to connect Buttondown to Notion using Zapier by creating a Zap that triggers on Buttondown events and automatically sends data to a Notion page. In under 20 steps, you can set up a fully automated integration without writing any code.
Steps
- Head over to the left-side panel and click Create.
- Select Zaps from the list of options.
- Click the Trigger tab to start the integration process.
- Search for Buttondown and select it from the suggested results.
- Specify your preferred Trigger Event.
- Tap Sign In and log into your active Buttondown account.
- Provide the API key associated with your Buttondown account, then tap Yes, Continue to Buttondown.
- Click Test Trigger to run your inputs.
- Click Continue to proceed further.
- Search for Notion and select it as the Action app.
- Tap the drop-down menu and pick the specific Action Event you want to execute.
- Click Sign In and log into your Notion account.
- Review the required permissions and click Select Pages.
- Tick the checkbox beside the page you wish to use and click Allow Access.
- Fill out the input fields one by one with the required integration information.
- Tap Continue to publish and enable the integration.
- Your Buttondown account is now connected to Notion based on your configured inputs.
