Quick summary
This demo shows how to connect Basecamp to Zoom using a Zapier automation so that a new Zoom meeting is created automatically whenever a trigger event occurs in Basecamp. Setting up this Zap takes just minutes and eliminates the need to manually schedule meetings from your project management tool.
Steps
- From your Zapier dashboard, select Zap to start building a new automation.
- Click on the Trigger field to begin selecting your trigger event.
- Search and select Basecamp as your trigger app.
- Choose a trigger event from the available Basecamp options.
- Connect your Basecamp account to authorize Zapier access.
- Customize the trigger settings and click Continue to proceed.
- Click Test trigger to verify that Basecamp data is flowing correctly.
- Search and select Zoom as the action app.
- Select Create Meeting as the action event for Zoom.
- Connect your Zoom account to authorize the integration.
- Configure the meeting details and click Continue.
- Click Test step to confirm the Zoom meeting is created successfully.
- Once the test passes, click Publish to activate your Basecamp–Zoom Zap.
