How to Chroma Key in Clipchamp

In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to use the chroma key effect in Clipchamp to remove colored backgrounds from a clip.

1. Click Import media and upload an image or video with a solid colored background.
2. Drag the clip onto the timeline.
3. Select the clip then open the Effects tab on the right panel. 
4. Look for the Green screen effect then click it to enable the chroma key effect.
5. On the Screen color drop down menu, choose the color of the background you want to adjust or remove.
6. Adjust the Screen threshold sliders to clean up the edges on the object.
7. The selected background color is now removed using the chroma key.

Note: Solid colored background is not necessary but makes it easier and cleaner for edits.
