It is very easy to change the slide duration in PowerPoint. Here’s a short tutorial on how to do it:

Inside the slide canvas of your PowerPoint presentation, go to the top menu bar and click 'Transitions'.
After that, find the 'Duration' option and then enter your desired input.
You may type it directly into the provided field or use the spin buttons to make the adjustment.
Finally, the duration of your PowerPoint slide will be changed based on your input.
