It is very easy to change the org chart layout in PowerPoint. Here’s a short guide on how to do it:

Inside the slide canvas of your PowerPoint presentation, find and select the org chart you want to edit.
Following that, go to the top menu bar and click 'SmartArt Design'.
Subsequently, tap the drop-down arrow below the SmartArt Graphic Layout Gallery to view the entire collection.
Browse the options under Hierarchy, then choose one based on your preference.
Finally, the layout of the selected org chart in your PowerPoint presentation will be changed accordingly.
