Use this interactive demo to learn how to adjust the bullet size in your PowerPoint presentations.

‍

It is very easy to change the bullet size in PowerPoint. Here’s a short guide on how to do it in simple steps:

  1. Inside the slide canvas of your PowerPoint presentation, find and select the bullets you wish to edit.
  2. After that, go to the Home tab. From there, find the 'Bullets' option and then click the drop-down arrow next to it.
  3. Click 'Bullets and Numbering' to proceed.
  4. Subsequently, go to the 'Size' field in the dialogue box. Enter your preferred size into the provided field or use the spin button next to it to make your desired adjustment.
  5. Once done, click 'OK' to apply the changes.
  6. Finally, the size of the bullets in your PowerPoint presentation will be changed accordingly.

📌 Why this matters

Customizing bullet size lets you create visual hierarchy that guides your audience's attention exactly where you want it. Larger bullets emphasize critical points, while smaller ones de-emphasize supporting details without removing them entirely. This becomes powerful when you're working with dense content or mixed audiences - executives might focus on the prominent bullets during a quick scan, while detail-oriented team members can still access the finer points marked with smaller bullets.
