Easily set your status message in Microsoft Teams by following these steps -

Click on your Profile icon on the right-hand side top corner.
Select the 'Available' option.
Choose the status you want from the given options.
Select the 'Set status message' option.
Type a message in the 'set status message' field tat you’d want people to see when you are away, Click 'Done'.
The message will be visible to people when they visit your profile.
