This tutorial shows you how to change pipeline stages in Pipedrive by adding, renaming, reordering, and deleting stages directly from the pipeline editor. Managing your Pipedrive stages helps your sales team reflect accurate deal progression and keeps your CRM pipeline aligned with your process.
Steps
- Click the Pencil Icon next to the Pipeline name to open the stage editing view.
- Click the + New Stage button on the right to create a new pipeline stage.
- Use the (+) icon between existing stages to insert a new stage at a specific position.
- Rename any stage by editing its name directly in the input field.
- Customize additional stage options such as Probability or Rotting time as needed.
- Drag and drop stages to reorder them within the pipeline.
- Place the dragged stage at your desired position in the pipeline.
- To remove a stage, click the Delete Stage button at the bottom of the stage column.
- Confirm the removal by clicking Delete Stage in the confirmation prompt.
- Your pipeline stages are now updated — you can add, delete, and reorder stages as needed.
