Quick summary
Changing the owner of a ClickUp Workspace takes just a few clicks through the Workspace Settings menu. This process lets you transfer ownership of a Workspace, Space, Folder, or List to any existing member instantly.
Steps
- Click on your profile avatar in the upper left corner to open the account menu.
- In the Workspace Settings menu, navigate to the Settings section.
- In workspace settings, select Transfer Ownership below the current owner's name.
- Choose the new owner from the list of Workspace members.
- Confirm the change by clicking the Transfer ownership button.
- Changes are automatically saved — ownership of the Workspace, Space, Folder, or List is now updated.
