In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to change the background in Clipchamp.
- Click Import media and upload an image or video.
- Drag the clip onto the timeline.
- Notice the empty space around the clip. This area uses the project’s background color.
- Deselect the clip then click the Background color button above the preview window.
- Select a new color to change the canvas background
- You can also use an image as a background by dragging it below your main clip in the timeline.
- Resize and reposition the images as you see fit.
Note: Clips placed below other clips appear behind them, making them useful as backgrounds.
