How to Blur Part of a Video in Clipchamp

In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to blur a specific area of a video in Clipchamp.

1. Click Import media and upload your video.
2. Drag the video onto the timeline.
3. Add the same video again on the track above the original clip.
4. Make sure both clips start at the same point on the timeline.
5. With the top video selected, click the Effects tab on the right panel.
6. Look for the Blur effect then click.
7. On the top of the preview panel, click Crop.
8. Adjust the frame to show only the area you want blurred then click Done.
9. Play the video to ensure only the part you want is blurred.

Note: It is important to make sure both video clips start at the same point on the timeline to ensure blurring matches the timing as video plays.
