Steps
- Log in to SurveyMonkey and click the Create Survey button on the homepage.
- Choose to start from scratch or select a pre-made template that fits your research goals.
- Select your preferred template from the available options.
- Click Use this template to confirm your selection and open the survey editor.
- Write your survey questions using clear, unbiased language and avoid leading questions.
- Choose a question type for each survey question from the available options.
- Click Save to preserve your question edits.
- Click the Logic option to set up conditional branching so respondents only see questions relevant to their previous answers.
- Define your branching rule and condition for each logic path.
- Click Save to apply your logic settings.
- Use the Preview Survey feature to experience the survey as a respondent and check for clarity and flow.
- Click Continue once you are satisfied with the survey preview.
