How to Append Data in Alteryx

It is very easy to append data in Alteryx. Here’s a short tutorial on how to do it in simple steps:

1. Inside Alteryx's workflow designer, go to the left-side panel and find 'Append Columns'. Drag this tool onto the canvas for further configuration.
2. After that, go to the first Input Data tool and connect it to the newly added Append Column tool via the Target input anchor.
3. Likewise, connect the other Input Data tool to the Append Column tool via the Source input anchor.
4. Tap the 'Append Column' tool afterwards to configure the necessary settings.
5. To get started, go to the right-hand panel and tick the checkbox beside the fields you want to include.
6. If you need to customize the connection further, you may also tick the checkbox beside the specific configurations you want to enable.
7. Finally, the selected data in your Alteryx workflow will be appended accordingly.
