It is very easy to add UTM parameters to links in Buffer. Here’s a quick guide on how to do it:
- On Buffer's Publish tab, click the 'Channel Settings' icon next to the name of the selected social media account.
- Tap the 'General' tab to proceed.
- After that, find 'Enable Campaign Tracking' under Google Analytics Campaign Tracking and then switch on the toggle button next to it.
- Click 'Customize Campaign Tracking' to edit the UTM parameters you want to incorporate.
- Specify your preferred 'Campaign Name', 'Campaign Source', and 'Campaign Medium'. Enter the details one by one into their respective input fields.
- Once done, click 'Update Tracking' to apply the changes.
- After completing these steps, the custom UTM parameters will be added automatically to the links in your Buffer posts.
