How to Add UTM Parameters to Links in Buffer

‍

‍

It is very easy to add UTM parameters to links in Buffer. Here’s a quick guide on how to do it:

‍

  1. On Buffer's Publish tab, click the 'Channel Settings' icon next to the name of the selected social media account.
  2. Tap the 'General' tab to proceed.
  3. After that, find 'Enable Campaign Tracking' under Google Analytics Campaign Tracking and then switch on the toggle button next to it.
  4. Click 'Customize Campaign Tracking' to edit the UTM parameters you want to incorporate.
  5. Specify your preferred 'Campaign Name', 'Campaign Source', and 'Campaign Medium'. Enter the details one by one into their respective input fields.
  6. Once done, click 'Update Tracking' to apply the changes.
  7. After completing these steps, the custom UTM parameters will be added automatically to the links in your Buffer posts.
