To add a Likert scale in SurveyMonkey, follow these steps:
- Open an existing one in which you want to add a Likert Scale question by clicking the ellipsis icon.
- From the drop-down menu, select 'Edit survey'.
- In the selected survey, navigate to the 'Design Survey' section and click on the '+ New Question' button to add a question.
- Select 'Matrix/Rating Scale' from the list of question types.
- In the main question text box, enter the main question.
- Under the 'Rows' section, input your rows. These represent the items or statements you want respondents to rate.
- Under the 'Columns' section, enter your answer choices. These represent the 'Likert scale' options.
- After configuring the Likert scale, click on 'Save' to add it to your survey.
- Once done, preview the question to make sure the formatting and layout look correct by clicking 'Preview survey'.
