Adding an Instagram feed to WordPress requires installing the WPZOOM Social Feed plugin and connecting your Instagram account. Once configured, you can embed the feed anywhere on your site using a shortcode, block, or widget.
Steps
- Go to your WordPress Dashboard and click on Plugins to begin adding a new plugin.
- In the plugin search bar, type wpzoom social feed and click on it.
- Click Install Now, then hit Activate once the plugin is installed.
- Find the new Instagram Widget section in the left sidebar, go to Instagram Widget > Users, and click the Connect with Instagram button.
- Grant permission for the plugin to display your Instagram feeds by clicking Allow.
- Return to Instagram Widget > Users, hover over the three dots icon, and click the Edit user link.
- Add a profile picture, name, and bio info for your account manually.
- In your WordPress Dashboard, go to Instagram Widget > Feeds and click the Add New Feed button.
- Click the Select an Account button to link your Instagram account to the feed.
- Select the Instagram account you want to use for the feed.
- Review the available configuration options to customize how your feed will appear.
- Click the Design tab to adjust the style and layout of your feed, then click Save.
- Switch to the Embed tab and choose how to display your feed — via shortcode, a block, or as a widget.
