Initial fields in PandaDoc let you collect recipient initials at specific locations within a document or template. By dragging and dropping the Initial field and assigning it to the correct recipient, you can streamline the document completion and signing process.


Steps

  1. Navigate to the document or template where you want to add initial fields.
  2. On the right-hand side, click the content panel to expand it.
  3. Before placing the field, assign it to the appropriate recipient.
  4. Drag and drop the Initial field from the Fields tab to the desired location in your document.
  5. Ensure the field is placed where the recipient needs to provide their initials.
  6. After placing all necessary fields, click Send.
  7. Your initial fields are now configured, enhancing the document completion process.
